In conversation with Annette Südbeck, Manon de Boer will offer insights into her practice in the intersection between filmmaking, visual art, and science. She will also share her experience as an artist in residence, both at PART and at the Art & Science program of the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA).
“My practice has always been informed by extensive research Into phenomenological and anthropological questions – the instability of memory and perception, being in time, the relationship to the other, the sensorial experience of sound and image. All along, I have been intrigued by the parallels between art and scientific research in their respective practices of creation and discovery.” (Manon de Boer)
PART International Art Residency Austria is a programme on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport. Refurbished to meet modern ecological standards between 2023 and 2025 with funding from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility and the Austrian Federal Government, the area currently houses 13 studios for local artists and six international residence studios and THE HALL.

We are directly opposite of the Ernst-Happel--Stadion, enter through the green gate of "Bildhauergebäude des Bundes" -> THE HALL is inside PART (right door after the stairs, behind the pillars)
