As part of our exhibition persona. fragments of identity, PART resident Odie Lap Chun Chow presents Fragmented Borders — a live performance during the opening in THE HALL.

Fragmented Borders reworks Chow’s earlier piece A Line that Is Weak, first shown in his solo exhibition Moulds for the Wilderness. There, the plaster mould — usually a tool for casting fixed shapes — became a way of making space instead: space held in uncertainty, open to ambiguity. The performance carries forward Chow’s questions about how the borders of everyday spaces quietly shape identity — and how fragile, how fragmented, those borders, and so those identities, turn out to be.
